Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2020 Verified Purchase I use the Aveeno Eczema Therapy Pump Wash, this Aveeno Eczema Therapy Daily Moisturizing Cream, and the Aveeno Eczema Therapy Colloidal Cream in the plastic jar each day, and my eczema has completely healed and is gone! It is like a miracle for me. I've been fighting itchy rashy eczema on my hands and it was spreading to my arms, and I had never had it in my life. This went on for 2 years, and my dermatologist put me on 3 or 4 different creams and/or steroid creams and none worked. I also used at least 10 different natural creams, oils, washes, etc. and NOTHING worked. I even tried fungal creams! Naturally, that didn't work, as it wasn't a fungal rash! Desperate people do desperate things. I love Aveeno products and had tried several, but did not know they had eczema therapy products. I discovered them on Amazon and figured why not try? So I always wash my hands with the special wash (I just put it by my sink, since it's a pump"), and I follow up with the pump lotion/cream, and I use the thick colloidal cream only at night. Within ONE WEEK, my eczema stopped itching and started to fade! In 2 weeks, it was totally gone! I am ecstatic! I showed my husband and we were both in shock! I mean, I have tried EVERYTHING! Even an expensive honey from New Zealand that did nothing! This is the best most remarkable stuff I ever used and now my hands are soft and totally clear, and I can wear bracelets and rings again! That is why it is so important to keep my hands healthy. Fine motor skills like starting IVs is made much harder by dry, thick skin with no sensitivity. I also use this to relieve moderate eczyma on my wrists. The eczyma is all but completely gone after a few weeks. The skin is still a little rough, but it is normal in appearance. It stopped the relentless itching, but I had to reapply it a couple of times a night at first to keep from sleep scratching. This was resolved by wearing light cotton gloves at night after moisturizing. My bottle came with a pump top. That is a wonderful addition and makes it much easier to use. Just place one on your bedside table and use it before bed. I also recommend keeping one in the bathroom for use after washing your hands. This has never made my hands greasy. It absorbs quickly and works well. This and the O'keefes night therapy are easily the best products I've tried including stuff vastly more expensive. I highly recommend it. We have tried many, many lotions and creams and this is truly the only one that has come even remotely close at continually working to seal in moisture and prevent flares, or keep them from getting out of control, when used daily as directed by her allergist. Like many small children, she often has flares in typical areas...like on the ankle, back of the knees, armpits, inside of the elbows, etc. However, she also commonly has flare ups in less typical areas, like the upper part of the back of her thighs, lower back, stomach, on the front and back of the neck, behind the ears, inside the ears and at the crevice where the ear lobe meets the face (it has literally split in two before). I'm mentioning all of this because I believe it's a true testament to how well this lotion can work in the treatment of eczema if applied thoroughly and regularly. Since the eczema she experiences is so severe, we do use a topical steroid to treat very inflamed ares when necessary. When she has those types of flare ups, we use the prescribed steroid cream first, then apply Aveeno Eczema Therapy all over her body, as well as Aquaphor Healing Ointment on top and continue this process morning and night. When she isn't experiencing a flare up, per her allergist's instructions, we bathe her in warm water (no bubbles) everyday and use an unscented soap on a wash cloth to cleanse. After twenty minutes, we remove her from the tub and gently pat her skin (semi) dry with a towel and then immediately moisturize with Aveeno Eczema Therapy Cream, which seals in the moisture left from her skin being kept damp after the bath. After that, we add Aquaphor Healing Ointment to any red areas or areas that are prone to inflammation. This routine usually keeps her flare up free for quite some time! It can be difficult to complete this routine from start to finish each night, especially while caring for our other children, but it gets easier with time and I totally attribute a lot of the success we've had in keeping her skin clear to the daily use of this lotion.
